Program Overview:
This internship forms part of the Municipal Finance Management Internship Programme (MFMIP) and is structured to provide both academic and hands-on exposure in areas such as municipal budgeting, treasury functions, and financial management.

Duration: 2 years (fixed-term contract)
Remuneration: R108, 000 (all-inclusive)
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must hold a three-year degree or National Diploma in one of the following fields:
- Accounting
- Finance
- Economics
- Risk Management
- Auditing
Additional requirements:
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and human relations skills
- Attention to detail and ability to handle pressure
- Ability to communicate effectively in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape
- Age range: 21–35 years

Overview
