But schools are so much more than buildings. Schools are about the spirit of the people who live and grow in them and the Steyn City School spirit is a pioneering one.

Steyn City School has grown swiftly and magnificently. Based on the simple yet profound philosophy that ‘happy children learn’, the school rings with the spirit of engaged learning. Teachers strive to ensure that the children under their care live the school’s motto as they ‘reach beyond’ at every opportunity.

It is our intention that the young adults who graduate from Steyn City School will be prepared to take on the world with grace, integrity, and the pioneering spirit already woven into the fabric of our community. Our young people are encouraged to be all-rounders and to strive for personal success in academics, leadership, sport, culture, and service but reaching beyond asks also that they do this with humility, integrity, and respect.
